Bawabet Al-Basrah Company has been tasked with one of the most important roles, in regards to the local environment and general health of the community. More than 80 oil and produced-water pits were contamination. A clear and imminent danger to our communities and our identified by the Rumaila Operating Organization as having hydrocarbon environment. We currently hold the contract to remove the old contaminated pits and create new properly lined engineering pits in order to capture the oil without contamination to the world. We currently use site remediation technology (including bio helping) to remove contaminated soil In order to have new developments. It is to date one of the largest soil remediations programs in terms of soil and water quantities removed.
